SPARTA — Reverend George A. Brown Memorial School inducted five new leaders of its student council for the 2017-2018 school year on Friday during Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church.

The new leaders of the council are:

Stella Scardigno, President

Allie Walton, Vice President

Lilly Radell, Secretary

Serena Lorenzo, Treasurer

Christy Lipka, Public Relations

The leaders of the council earned their respective spots on the council through the effective demonstration of the five qualities of leadership, scholarship, character, service and compassion that serve as the standards for the Reverend Brown community.

During the ceremony, each leader read a description of the five qualities. After that, they lit a candle and signed their names into a book that had signatures of past student council leaders. The student council at Reverend Brown has been in existence for eight years.
